Trump considers new contenders for social media outing




After having been banned through Facebook and Twitter, former President Donald Trump is considering new platforms to share its content.

Trump is reportedly considering Clouthub and FreeSpace, new social media networks created to tackle Big Tech.

Jeff Brain, Managing Director of Clouthub, a new social media network launched in November 2020, believes its business can meet the needs of conservatives who are tired of being censored by Big Tech.

“CloutHub is an impartial platform”, the site bed. “We support freedom of expression and protect your privacy. We do not explore, track, or sell user data. We do not remove your scope or manipulate what you see. We empower our members to influence the issues that matter to them.

Lara Trump, Rudy Guiliani and Michael Flynn are already on Clouthub.

Earlier this month, Brain slammed Facebook for banning the former president.

“Once again, Facebook has deprived the American people of our right to hear from President Trump,” declaration Lily. “What Big Tech is doing to Donald Trump – and the millions of Americans who cherish free speech – is simply inexcusable.

Trump also seems to be considering Free space, a Facebook alternative owned by parent company Skylab Apps Inc.

“FreeSpace is a POWER OF POSITIVITY-focused social media platform that entrepreneurs and families can be proud of,” the platform is bragging.

Trump was banned from Facebook shortly after the Jan.6 riot on Capitol Hill. CEO Mark Zuckerberg specified that the dangers of Trump’s profile were “just too great.”

“We believe that the risks of allowing the President to continue to use our services during this period are simply too great”, he said. mentionned. “[W]We are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks until the peaceful transition of power is complete.

Twitter followed suit a day later.

“After careful consideration of recent tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context surrounding them, we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement to violence,” Twitter Safety mentionned without elaboration.
