(Reuters) – JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE 🙂 has hired Sherry Ann Mohan, a senior executive at Goldman Sachs Group (NYSE :), as CFO of its merchant banking unit, according to a note seen by Reuters on Friday.
Mohan was CEO and CFO of Goldman’s consumer business, which includes Marcus and Apple (NASDAQ 🙂 Card, and will be leaving after nearly 15 years in the bank.

The move follows the departure of Marcus product manager Sonali Divilek, who also joined JPMorgan, media reported last month.
The Marcus unit was started by Goldman to diversify its income and funding sources by offering savings accounts and personal loans to individuals.
Goldman CEO David Solomon has made Marcus the cornerstone of his broader strategy to make the bank more like a full-service lender to individuals and global businesses.
Jake Siewert, the global head of corporate communications at Goldman and a top aide to former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, is also leaving the U.S. bank, The New York Times reported last month. (https://nyti.ms/3huJYNY)
