How to find a ribbon factory in Subnautica: below zero
The ribbon plant is a species of flora from Subnautica: below zero. It has a shiny green core which makes it very recognizable. It is anchored to the ground by a yellow stalk and has long leaves wrapped around the luminous core.
A wavy, ribbon-like tendril protrudes from the top of the ribbon plant, which is probably the reason for its name. While it’s fairly easy to spot one, there are only a few ways to find one.
Fortunately, players don’t have to wait too long to reach the biome that contains the Ribbon Plants. Subnautica: sub zero. Shallow Twisty Bridges is a surface biome and the starting point for the game.
The shallow caves of this biome are where players should search, rather than just the seabed. In these caves, players will notice sections of grass containing around three to four ribbon plants.
For Subnautica: Below Zero players who have ventured away from Shallow Twisty Bridges, there are a few other players to find them. Crystal Caves, Maker’s Caves, Ice Basin, Underwater Caves, Glacial Connection, and Lilypad Islands are all places where Ribbon Plants can be harvested.
In addition to locating them in the different biomes of the game, players can also encounter Sea Monkeys. Sea monkeys are intelligent wildlife Subnautica: sub zero which can give resources to players. Ribbon plants can sometimes be obtained from them.
