A few weeks ago, Bachelor star Colton Underwood declared himself gay on national television – he says he was blackmailed into going out.
“I’m just going to say it,” he said. “At one point, during my crisis and my downward spiral, I was blackmailed. Nobody knows I was blackmailed, ”he told Variety. He said he was sent an email threatening blackmail after going to a spa “just to watch,” but somehow took nude photos of himself at the scene.
“[I] should never have been there, ”he told Variety.
He then passed the message on to his press secretary, who advised him to get out.

“I knew that of anyone in my world, my publicist was not going to ruin me,” Colton said.
He said his parents were proud of him after they were released.
“My dad is proud to say he’s a conservative Republican, and he’s also proud to say, ‘I have a gay son,’” he said. “I think it’s important for America to hear this and see this. Right now the media is giving the impression that there is no common ground.”
