2021 Fantasy Baseball Cheat Sheet: Leaderboards, Sleepers, Top Prospects, Bid Values, Tiers, Team Names, More

Last year, we waited to find out when (and if) the opening day would take place. This year there doesn’t seem to be any confusion (knock on wood), which means every fantasy baseball owner will be looking for a 2021 fantasy baseball cheat sheet. Because many fantasy owners ” chose not to participate “in last year’s abridged season, they may have forgotten their usual March routine, but we’re here to get you back on track. Our cheat sheet is filled with rankings and levels, auction values, auction advice, snake project strategy tips, sleepers and escapes for each position, best prospect lists, a simulated draft simulator, spring training player updates, the best fantastic team names, and more. Yeah – now you remember what a real draft kit is, eh?

The opening day is set for Thursday April 1, but we will continue to update the links below leading to the first pitch. Check back often for new articles and be sure to bookmark this page for easy access during your draft.

Fantasy Baseball Ranking 2021, Levels Cheat Sheet

Top 300: Juan Soto is No 1, Jorge Alfaro is No 300 and there are 297 other guys in between. (Yes, 297 – Shohei Ohtani is there twice.)

Catch: We really like the receiver eligible players who might not play the receiver. In fact, we have two in our top 12.

First base: Homers are easy to find; mean and flies … not so much.

Second base: If you play on Yahoo, literally each 2B is eligible for another position. Well, not literally “literally” … but close!

Third base: We were all worried that Manny Machado would move to San Diego, and he always raked. Are we making the same mistake with Nolan Arenado?

Short stop: Welcome to the SS ranking, Eugenio Suarez!

External field: It was more fun when Eloy Jimenez was in them. They’re still pretty good, however.

Starting launcher: We’ll be shocked if the end-of-season SP rankings aren’t exactly the same our pre-season rankings. They are perfect.

Emergency pitcher: Two guys from the same team in the top 11? Why not? This position hardly exists anymore.

2021 Fantasy Baseball Auction Values

Dollar projections for each position: It is good to study them before your auction so that you know exactly how much you have outbid Ke’Bryan Hayes.

Fantasy 2021 Baseball Sleepers

30 teams, 30 sleepers: You will never believe who we have chosen for the national championships! (Sorry, shameless tip for you to read it all the way. Thanks for the pageviews!)

Catch: There are actually some potential bases stolen on this list. Seriously.

First base: Prediction: One of these guys will have six home runs by the end of April.

Second base: Speedsters, sluggers, a bit of both – there’s something for everyone.

Third base: 3B is stacked so we had to dig deep here. Maybe too deep.

Short stop: The lesson after reading this: Don’t rely on a shortstop sleeper.

External field: This roster is mostly made up of young men, but we’re bringing in an injury-prone veteran you probably remember.

Launcher: What would a sleeper list be without multiple Cleveland pitchers?
