Today’s March Madness schedule: schedules, channels, scores for Monday’s second round NCAA tournament games

Another day, another occasion of incredible upheaval in March Madness.

A day after five teams ranked no more than 12 seeds won their first round matches, we saw three more shocking results in the opening list of second round matches on Sunday. Eight seed Loyola Chicago beat Illinois at 1 seed, 11 seeds Syracuse survived 3 seeds in West Virginia15-seeded Oral Roberts became just the second team in his line of do the Sweet 16 and the 12-seeded Oregon State continued its harvest of Cinderella beyond the 4-seeded Oklahoma State.

What’s in store for fans of the NCAA tournament on Monday? There are a lot of interesting showdowns, starting with 7-seeded Oregon in their first game of the tournament against 2-seeded Iowa and Sports player of the year Luka Garza. Then seed Gonzaga can sharpen his teeth on 8-seeded Oklahoma, which reversed a solid win over Missouri with key players missing.

The eight-seeded LSU to 1-seeded Michigan might be the most contested game – and biggest – but also keep an eye out for 5-seed Colorado to 4-seed Florida State. Then there’s 10-seed Maryland vs. 2-seed Alabama.
