You are not alone if your PC dreams are a little bigger than your wallet can handle. Building a PC from scratch, whether for gaming, videography, graphic design, or anything in between, can take a lot of time and a ton of money. But Omaze offers the possibility of speeding up this process by donate $ 20,000 to build your own PC.
It is free to participate in this contest, but you can choose to purchase additional entries and these profits will go to Player awareness, an organization that provides video games and other entertainment for children in hospitals. You can enter until June 10, 2021 and the winner is expected to be announced around June 23, 2021.
That amount of money can go pretty far when it comes to setting up your PC, even if you are starting from scratch. Not only could you make a specially designed gaming or creative PC, but you can also add all the monitors, keyboards, headsets, and other peripherals you need.
If you’re not familiar with Omaze, it’s a site that raises money for charities through freebies and experiences. As with this PC opportunity, you don’t always have to spend money to participate – but you’ll have a better chance of winning if you spend a few dollars on entries. These dollars are then donated to the charity associated with the gift. In this case, 100% of the profits are donated to Charities Aid Foundation America, which will then “grant the donations, net of fees and experience fees,” to Gamers Outreach. You can learn more about how fundraising works by reading the “Fundraising Transparency” section at the bottom of the giveaways page.
Prices and availability are subject to change. No donation or payment is necessary to enter or win this contest. See the official rules on Omaze.
